Awake

Ahhh...6:56am and I'm awake.

Not awake as in "Boy, I got a good night's sleep, and I'm sure up early!"

Awake as in "Holy shit, why am I still awake? Do I really hate myself that much?"

Poor planning, improper sleep cycles, bad habits, and a complete disregard for my own health (mental, physical, spiritual, and metaphorical) have conspired to ruin my Saturday.

Cool.

Sleeping (it off) all day will increase my chances of surviving the weekend with only $15.00 in my wallet.

Heh.

p.s. The sunrise is a harsh mistress, indeed. Is it weird to wear sunglasses to bed?

I bet Bono does it.
